"My husband and I had been so frustrated. We are opening a therapy office for my husband and he will use an apartment over our garage as an office. We were trying to get insurance and just kept running into walls - even with our own insurance carrier. We called State Farm and Jason completely took care of us. In addition to finding us coverage, he even saved us money even though we were getting an additional policy. He was so efficient and positive and truly worked with us even getting creative to make it all work. We are big fans of Jason!"

"Liam at Jason Douglas State Farm in Evanston has always gone above and beyond for all services I have with State Farm. He is very knowledgeable, can answer all of my questions Liam will go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and well informed plus make you feel assured all of your questions have been answered thoroughly. "I was with this agent and State Farm for six years. I thought it was a decent but not incredible experience. But then everything unraveled. We had a simple failed autopay issue that was taken care of on an outdated card in August (the App has two valid payment methods, including our checking acct). We fixed it in the App, and I never heard about it again. We are a homeowner policy and auto policy bundled. While our homeowners continued to be in effect (paid via escrow), State Farm cancelled our auto policy. We had no idea. No email from corporate, no text, no phone call. The office left a single voicemail on my phone about a billing issue the day before the policy was cancelled, but mentioned nothing about cancellation. Again, this is what prompted me to change the default payment in the App. Once the auto policy officially was cancelled, you’d think that my agent who also represents my homeowners’ would drop me a line or an email. Or maybe even at least try to sell me the auto policy he thought I took to a competitor? No. Nothing. Not a word. I didn’t find out until six months later when I was taking a closer look at our policy info. I was driving around uninsured while State Farm was still busy reminding me that I had to install a beacon in my car to continue my discount. The homeowners policy continues to have an auto discount for a policy that I don’t apparently have. In any case, they made a huge mistake and instead of doing the right thing and honoring and reinstating the policy without a fuss, they just kind of shrugged. I am taking both auto and home to Erie, where I also found out just how shitty the policies I was sold was. Thanks for nothing, and hope everyone who considers this office reads this review."

"Hi Ryan, first i want to say thank you for being with us for the past six years. I take these matters very seriously, and my goal is ensure we do a quality job here at the office. I want to clarify our process as our office did communicate via several text messages, an email, and a phone call. Additionally State Farm sends formal written notices via mail to alert policyholders of any pending cancellations. While we did leave a voicemail to discuss the billing issue, we truly regret that the urgency of cancellation wasn't fully realized on your end. Regarding the reinstatement, as an agency, we have to follow strict underwriting guidelines once a policy has been inactive for several months. We never want to see a customer go unprotected, which is why we reach out through multiple channels. I wish you the best with your new carrier and appreciate the time you gave me. "
